Delete messages in bulk

HI I’m using 2.10.4 version. I’ve been using it for years and I have over 10 000 messages and a ton of draft messages as well. I’d like to delete all but the latest few pages. I can only see how to delete one at a time. Is there a way to delete messages in bulk? Thanks Amanda

@amandaA I don’t think that there is a way to bulk delete, apart from accessing the phplist database directly, which is probably not a good idea.

If you upgrade to the latest release of phplist then you will be able to use the Housekeeping plugin to delete messages older than a certain age. See https://resources.phplist.com/plugin/housekeeping

Thanks so much! Is an upgrade pretty easy? Might I lose my email lists or messages? Should I back anything up before upgrading? Thanks! Amanda
