When will PHP 8 be supported?

I found some old unresolved topics about this but wonder what the current plan is.

I’ve a new server which is running PHP 8.1.2. The easiest thing would be for me to move PHPList there, if it would work. The next easiest would be to wait a short while until you say it will be compatible. And finally, if it would be a long while, I would probably add PHP 7 (I think I’d have to use PHP-FPM, which would be new for me).

@Jonathan11 You should be able to use php 8.1. I’m using 8.1.13 on my own web site without any obvious problems.
