I’ve on occasion been annoyed because I copied a blank character from an email to the ‘Find subscriber’ field and could not find a match in the DB, or even copied it in the email address field of an actual record, when making manual edits, effectively making the record impossible to find afterwards. I’m also not sure on the impact of sending itself if there are emails in the list with leading and/or trailing characters.
Unless there is a good reason for this, would it not be a good improvement to Trim() entered email addresses, wherever appropriate ?
During search, entry and so on ?
