I’m new here and I’m writing this text with a translation tool. I have installed PHPList on my FTP. Unfortunately, sending the test email fails and I don’t know why.
Where can I set up the SMTP stuff?
The server is: mail.lima-city.de
465, ssl

@JP_Lev See the online manual for an explanation of setting an SMTP server Installing phpList man... | phpList manual and also look at the config_extended.php file in the lists/config directory for all the configuration settings.
When I setup phplist on a new system, and if it also has Wordpress installed, I usually try setting up the PostSMTP plug-in using its wizard to analyse the web and email server, then when have that working I replicate the settings in phplist’s config.php file. At the beginning of setting up phplist I also usually copy config_extended.php over config.php and configure that rather than having two config files.
