IS anybody working on supporting emails with AMPHTML content?

it says that amphtml is a subset of html…
To get this to work, I would create the email content on a web page, and try ‘send a web page’.
It might work already, using that technique.
It appears that you need an additional mime type, so effectively you would send test, amphtml and html. Also need to register with Goggle as far as I understand.
Primary issue I suppose is adding an additional mime type?
