Subscription to a list using a code

I would like to know if anyone has done this where when someone comes to signup you only show the list based on a code and no other list show up.

Do you mean like a password - authentication-based list offering on phpList subscribe pages?

No password, I am talking about a code like 007xrer will show or map to a list call flowers for example.

ok I have multiple clients and I do not want to show the list, so if I have a list with a code when the come and sign up using the code it will automatically add them to that list. Hopefully this helps.

You can create separate subscribe pages, each offering different lists, then provide links to only the relevant subscribe page.
