it is great to see that this forum is very active and there are new questions every day.
While phpList has thousands of downloads on SourceForge, there are only a few stars on GitHub. Given to the high traffic, I assume that many people might have gotten phpList from GitHub. 
Here:
On the upper right corner, there is a Star 
button. You can also, Watch 
the repo and receive updates about any activity on the repo.
BTW, you can also Star/Watch the ‘Core’ repo. Core is the core module of the successor to phpList 3. Here:
