I’m planning to set up phpList on a website hosted by DreamHost. They have an anti-spam policy. For mailing lists it requires opt-in confirmation emails be sent to new subscribers, which phpList does well. (I’ve been using phpList elsewhere for the past four years.) The policy also says: “You must log the date/time and IP address of each confirmation. The log must reflect the confirmation, not the initial opt-in.” Does phpList conform with this requirement?
@GrahamB Yes the IP address if recorded. You can see that when you view a subscribers details, on the History page.
