PHPList SMTP settings

Hi All,

I have spent hours going round in circles trying to get phplist working and to actually send emails. I have tried multiple different configs and fail on every occasion and get the message

Processing has started,

One campaign to process.

Please leave this window open. phpList will process your queue until all messages have been sent. This may take a while

Report of processing will be sent by email

Processing campaign 5

Looking for subscribers

Found them: 2 to process

Warning: script never reached stage 5

This may be caused by a too slow or too busy server

Anyone here got any ideas to put me out of my misery

@mchamberlain3060 You can enable SMTP debug, see the explanation in config_extended.php then add the settings to config.php. Then send a test email when there should be some debug output at the top of the page. That should explain what is failing.
