Phplist Autoresponder plugin not sending email

I am using the below plugin with my PHP v3.2.4 to send an auto responder message a few minutes after they subscribe to a list.

My issue is that it does not seem to be sending the email to the subscriber. I also have my cron job sending me an email when it runs and this is the info I see. Even though I have a campaign created and left in draft mode. I also assigned the campaign to the list I have users subscribe to.

@theliwebguy Are you using the latest version of the plugin, 2.3.1?
Check that the subscription was after you created the autosubscriber, unless you have unchecked “send to new users”.

I just installed the plugin today using the url https://github.com/bramley/phplist-plugin-autoresponder/archive/master.zip which I put into the textbox via the phplist manage plugin page. So I believe its the correct version?

Also yes I setup the autoresponder first. I then added a new subscriber to the same list the autoresponder is setup for.

@theliwebguy A few things to check

  • that the autoresponder is enabled
  • the subscriber has not already received the message

I might have misunderstood what you were doing.
This message shows that you were running the “process” page, which is no longer required, see the plugin guidance https://resources.phplist.com/plugin/autoresponder_3.x#usage particularly processing the queue.
