phpList 3.4.0 has been released

phpList 3.4.0 has been released

This release contains security fixes – you should download and upgrade as soon as possible.

This is a major release, since it brings changes on phpList 3 and it also includes the new REST API, powered by phpList 4. The new REST API is included for the first time which, when enabled, allows other software systems to interact with phpList in a variety of ways, such as managing subscribers, lists, and campaigns.

Read the full list of changes on the release notes.

Please consider that the REST API is disabled by default and further enhancements are expected in future releases.

Other Changes in this release

  • jQuery for phpList 3 admin pages has been upgraded to version 3.3.1.

  • A new stock campaign template based on the ‘Really Simple Free Responsive HTML Email Template’ by Lee Munroe, adapted by @Angel for phpList, and a new stock template selection system provides access to the new template, accessible from the ‘Campaign Templates’ page.

  • The Automatic Updater is out of beta, and update notifications have replaced the previous notification system. Two settings that allow management of update notifications have been added, and one old updater setting depreciated.

  • Lists are displayed based on the list order configured on the ‘Edit a subscribe page’ page even when public list categories are used.

Weird behavior since just upgrading to 3.4.0. Campaigns are reporting as sent (800+ sent and campaign completes) but newsletters are only being received by recipients in the same domain as the server. Same behavior with ‘send test’, the message is only being received by recipients in the same domain. Gmail, Yahoo, etc. addresses are not receiving any newsletters.

I have been using PHPList on a shared HostGator account since Dec and have not seen this behavior until now. I can send emails on the same server without difficulty.

Any suggestions or solutions greatly appreciated.

I’m just can’t manage to find were to delete campains ?

Hi, you can’t delete a campaign that has clicks recorded on it. If there are no clicks however, you will need to put it on drafts again by clicking the edit option. From there just click the bin icon. Hope this helps.
