How to edit the Confirmation Email

Hi,

I put on the site code to the user sign up to receive newsletter.

After signing a screen appears thanking subscribe to our newsletter.

I wonder how and where to set the email that you receive after this registration (Order Confirmation).

Already completed add/edit registration page/subscription and created the Order Confirmation, but the user receives an email campaign.

Note. The registration page is active

The confirmation message text is in two places

  1. In Config > Settings > transactional settings >
    Message subscribers receive when they sign up

  2. In the subsribe page editor againn, under transactional settings

The config one will affect the text of all future subscribe pages and all general signup’s but the text of older subscribe pages must be edited separately.

Both ways have been left as original and only translated into Portuguese.

There is another old confirmation page, and only one active.

The error continues.

You are mixing the confirmation page with a campaign.

Make a member of http://www.cctur.com.br/lists and read the e-mail message that you receive.

There is no other form of description only one and is active

and you have also changed the on in config settings?

Not sure what to make of that… :confused: I can’t think where the issue is.

Do not change any settings, always doing the update version

Is there any way to back up only the models campaigns?

If I take full bakchup, errors return

So I do a reinstall of phplist, mind emails again and care models and campaigns.

What I mean is that in Config > Settings there is a version of the confirm email for you to edit.

I mention it here

Did a fresh install, complete. Recovered emails, lists, models and some plugins.

So far it’s working perfectly. I installed on another domain.

I think the problem should be some old plugin version 2.x

Hello, had the same problem today. Made Email in German language in Config, was shown there but users got the English standard mail. I found out that there is a bug in the system. The bug is making databases double in some points… so I had two entries in the database, German and original. So with “MyPHP Admin” I could login in the database and corrected all wrong english there. It´s double work but working :slight_smile:
