How to check if the bounce rules are working?

Presently i am just checking out phpList on my XAMPP server. Just to get used to some of the functionality and code.
I am using phpList version 3.2.1.
What should i do to send out my campaigns and to confirm that the campaigns have been received or bounced?
I am just using a list with 5 email ids just for testing purposes.
What i would like to know is how to proceed to check if the bounce rules are working. Like say for example i want to delete a certain user after certain no. of bounced emails. How would i check if it is working or not?

You cannot actually do that combination. The old documentation is generally still accurate http://docs.phplist.com/PhpListConfigBounces.html so have a browse through that.
