How does it works the phplist automated RSS feed Import/Send?

Hi there!
Soon I will be creating a few automated newsletters, having a couple of wordpress rss feed categories as RSS source…

But… how phplist handle that? what happens if the newsletter is scheduled and there is NO new information in that category… it will be send a message with everything but no content in RSS section?
If works like that… there is any way to NOT send the scheduled message when the RSS feed has no new information?

(I guess it will be NOT sending everything contained in the rss feed, every time it is scheduled? is has like a pointer “this has already been included, skip it”?)
