Hostgator and phplist

phplist is on hostgator servers. My daily posting has suddenly slowed down. When I contacted them they gave the following response. Has anyone had a similar problem and how can we overcome

Absolutely There is recent update o al the shared server restricted maximum up to 35 email per hour for the highest level of Shared Hosting Plan. And for Shared Hatchling Plan you can send up to 25 email/ per hour.

Actually, we use a dedicated server from Hostgator for just that reason. With our dedicated server, we manage the Wordpress settings and we can push out 1,200 emails per hour when we want.
