For the 7th year in a row Hacktoberfest is launching again. You can participate starting from October 1st until October 31st by submitting 4 valid pull requests to any public GitHub repository. First, you have to register at the Hacktoberfest website to keep track of your progress. If you don’t register your PRs will not count.

In case you didn’t know Hacktoberfest is organized by DigitalOcean, DEV and Intel. DigitalOcean has been organizing events throughout October to invite more and more open source contributors and project maintainers to join.
