Confusing Preference page

Hi Guys a newbie here

When I request to change my preferences through my email address I am presented with a email check form that has 2 fields.
The first field has a partially masked version of my email
email address exa********@g***m
and the 2nd field is where I input my email.
The issue is that if I enter the 2nd field with my correct it comes up with incorrect email box. It was only after several attempt that I realised that I am supposed to change the first field as well. I suspect if I got frustrated with it then so will my customers. Is there a quick fix so that you don’t have to enter your email in BOTH fields and only the bottom field
