'Active' list status in the database equals 'public'? Suitable alternative?

@duncanc @michiel In the phpList database, list privacy settings (e.g. whether the list is public, and stated as such on /lists/admin/?page=list) seem to be stored in the ā€˜active’ column of the phplist_lists table. Questions:

  1. Is this the only use of that data (does it have any other purpose)?
  2. Is ā€˜visible’ a reasonable alias for ā€˜active’?

This question has arisen in the course of phpList 4 development, and specifically handling which lists should be returned via the API when a list of all available lists are requested.

Yes, it’s a bad naming issue. The active column used to mean something else, but this was re-purposed for the ā€œpublicā€ aspect of a list.
