500 Internal Server Error after install phplist via softaculous

Hello,

I have install phplist via softaculous, and after that i have 500 Internal Server Error.
I have check Error log in Cpanel…and get this:

I have try almost everything - googled around, searched the old forum, read the trouble shooting, nothing other than possibly removing lines from .htaccess… still getting 500 error.

You’ve used Softaculous (Soft) to install, that’s great. Normally Soft installs phpList in /lists directory unless you change the default setting, did you? Is phpList installed in your /lists directory or have you installed it on the root of your domain?
(eg:www.domain.com holds the contents of lists directly)

Which version of phpList did Soft install by the way?

I have installed at lists directory…i have checked Error log and get that some files are missing…and i have install latest version phplist 3.2.1.

Okay, to test things out, can you delete the lists directory, and see if you still have Error 500 reported. If you do, then it’s something else on your server.

If you don’t then try reinstalling phpList using the default settings in Soft and see how things go then. Let us know how things go please.
