Timeout during import

Dear phpList community,

I am encountering the recent problem that when I try to import a larger csv list of subscribers (10.000+) and selecting the option to overwrite existing properties (selected by default) I always get a timeout midway through the import process. Therefore only a part of the whole list is imported.

I think that this might be related to the session timeout of the admin interface.

Therefore I have two questions:

  1. Is it possible to extend the session duration?
  2. Is there another solution for importing / updating a large number of subscribers from a csv file?
