what is the suggested size for embedded images?
Many emails are sent out assuming the viewer is looking at it at 600 pixels wide, so I would use that as a guide to your picture size… you might want more than one column, which would be a smaller width.
Also bear in mind that whilst most people now have Broadband, those still on dial-up won’t appreciate massive images as they take for ever to load.
It used to be advised that a webpage was limited to less than 100Kb of images so people didn’t get bored waiting for an image heavy page to load. Might be worth while sticking to a max of 100K for email images too, especially if you send out a lot of emails?
