Schedule and "php counter" for subject

We send a newsletter every 2 weeks, the subject contain the number of the newsletter. Could this be automated with schedule? (p.e. “News 238”).

I have seen “Subject Line Placeholder” plugin but I don’t think it will be useful in this case (and it has an issue telling it is not compatible with phplist 3.3).

@enboig I can’t think of an easy way to do this. Perhaps you could use an admin attribute within the placeholder, and write / run a simple separate script to update the value of the attribute periodically, or following the sending of a campaign? There will be other possible approaches also.
