Hi everyone,

A new version for phpList is now ready for download, introducing several changes.

You can update your phpList installation using the Automatic Updater, or you can download it directly from Sourceforge.

For the full list of changes have a look at the Release Notes.

Changes have been made to address the following issues:

New features:

  • When marking a message as sent, set the β€œSent” field to the current time. Have a look at Pull Request #775
  • Add setting PHPMAILERSUBSCRIBEHOST. Allow setting up a different SMTP host for the messages that originate from the subscribe pages. See Pull Request. Detailed documentation about PHPMAILERSUBSCRIBEHOST can be found on the resources wiki.

  • Handling PHP 8 better and considering an installer as a β€œsuperuser”. Have a look at Pull Request #777.
  • Reintroduce composer.json after failure in including the file during build process – problem caused when build and release process changed during the last release. See Pull Request #779.

With the new changes added, more strings are available for translation. Check out the new strings on Weblate, and help bring phpList in your language. If you are not sure where to start, have a look at this blogpost.

Happy sending!

@mariana @michiel There is a problem with the phplist zip file that is used by the updater

The release process appears to have zipped the wrong level directory. It has used the parent directory, which is also named phplist.
See this screenshot

Have the same issue.

This should be ok now.

Thanks, it is working now.
