New 'base' directoy mandatory?

Hi,

I’m using PhpList on a small scale and I update manually. I did try 3.4.0 without uploading the new API ‘base’ directory. And everything seems to work.

I think (now) I will never use any API. So, could I continue also in the futur without this directory?

@skipper For now the base directory is only used for the API, but in future it will also be required for other, non-API functionality.

So you can remove it in this release, but if you do then watch out in future. Long story short, I wouldn’t recommend removing it unless you have to.
