HI Guys, for the first time ever i have send out an email and the unsubscribe does not work i get the following error message “Invalid address: http://phplist/?p=unsubscribe&uid=76e42f92b03b168f84fd32675b894d99”

It looks as if you haven’t set up your config correctly have a look at
( as SuperAdmin ) Config -> Settings …scroll down to Subscription Settings, about 3/4 down the page, and confirm you have the correct info re you website and path.
If still not working have a look at $pageroot in your config file.

page root setting is $pageroot = ‘/phplist’ only
OK that gives you http://phplist/ so try
$pageroot = ‘/www.isotrainingza.com/phplist’
and see what happens

@sabrahamse The likely cause of the problem are some of the values on the Settings page. Check the values for “website address” and, as mentioned before, the values in the “Subscription settings” group.
HI all, I did all the steps as per the forum but still have an error. Only thing i can think of is that the link in a pre existing email does not work?
@sabrahamse Making changes isn’t going to affect an old email. Do you have the problem if you send a test email?
eish guys after all these changes, i tried setting up a small email as a test but the server keeps bouncing me out to the wordpress site sayin it does not exist.Using a start a new campaign in the phplist gives me this error http://www.isotrainingza.com/www.isotrainingza.com/phplist/admin/?page=send&id=5

but then check that the urls in the Subscription settings group are still correct.
sorry to sound so stupid.
I changed $pageroot should be ‘/phplist’ in my config.php file and changed
the website address in the configuration setting in phplist.
Where will i find the urls for the subscription setting group?
Opting out still pushes me to the wordpress instance -

To what value? It always helps if you say exactly what you have done.

web site is set to www.isotrainingza.com
and the unsubscribe url is http://www.isotrainingza.com/phplist/?p=unsubscribe
When you then send a test email what is now the problem?
Hi Good evening. I found the problem: in the settings menu the system keeps duplicating the [WEBSITE][WEBSITE] for example http://[WEBSITE]/[WEBSITE]/phplist/?p=confirm.
I have updated it but when i log in again it is back
