When adding a reply I couldn’t see any explanation of what markdown is supported, beyond using the buttons on the toolbar.
e.g. can use three backticks or four backticks to “surround” a code block.
Is there a page that explains the markdown that is supported. If so can we add a link to it in an obvious place?

basically it’s standard flavour markdown with some support for BBcode and html
but I don’t think these is a guide otherwise…
To be honest, I don’t see the need. Most people just use the buttons, then if you want to sue markdown and you don’t know what works (bearing in mind most will) just try some and the preview box shows you in real time if it is working or not
