If you have access to your postfix configuration I can share the settings for setting up tunnels for certain domains that will decrease how fast postfix sends the mail to certain domains. I had to do this for hotmail, yahoo, aol, and a couple other domains. They would temporary block my connections. Now it all goes out nice and smooth.
Reverse DNS has to be setup. I know there are other settings too that I am figuring out.
@mopani you can actually setup an external SMTP host on your phplist that would allow you to send up to 30K emails at about USD9 a month.
