<br /> between mail template and footer

Hello,
when I configure a footer (like test or with HTML-tags) then phpList will make a new line with <br /> between the mail content (and template) and the footer. How can I remove this <br /> permanently?

@doldu45 You can use the [FOOTER] placeholder explicitly in the template.
