Bounce Rule Action - subscriber vs email address

What’s the difference between “blacklist subscriber” and “blacklist email address”?

Also, another rule refers to the “do-not-send-list.” Is that the same as the blacklist?

There is a subtle difference, not sure it make a big difference either way.

A subscriber has multiple attributes or data fields associated with it. The Blacklist subscriber ticks the ‘blacklist’ field in the subscriber’s record. If they change their email address, they are still blacklisted.

The second rule, “do-not-send-list” puts the user’s email address on the global do-not-send-list, which is not accessible from the web interface, but the table in the database is called blacklist.

I haven’t figure out how this makes a difference to a sender… but it must be there for a reason.
