Phplist signup activation and discuss software

hello all phplist users
I just signed up phplist.org to post here and see default registration doesnt activate with click
if its intentional ?

i had to double check and then cut and paste the last part of email confirmaiton and paste in url to activate account
if its intentional maybe update email to only include code and not url that doesnt process
account activated

so the question i have
what software is used to create this discuss forum discuss.phplist.org
,if this is some forum software like wordpress or other cms could not find name of software used to create this forum
